Chateau Monbrison Bottle:1 His father was one ofMedium depth of darkly pigmented purple red color The red fruit aromas have a lifted, violet perfume overlaid by toasty & chalky notes. The palate has lovely soft red fruit & overtones of cassis. The acidity is very fresh, giving the fruit a slightly tart edge. The wine is of mid weight & fine tannins give a little grainy grip. Balanced alcohol contributes a little warmth to round out the finish. The finish lasts well.
